Better Beginnings Child Development Center is located in Hightstown, New Jersey on North Main Street with our entrance on Mechanic Street.
Better Beginnings is a non-profit child development center in operation since 1967.
We provide affordable childcare through our Grow NJ Kids rated and NAEYC accredited preschool program. Our childcare services extend to an after-school and summer program designed for children who have graduated from our preschool program and are now of school age.
Better Beginnings is located in the First Presbyterian Church of Hightstown. We are led by a Board of Directors, with 16 volunteers from the community. Their focus is on providing children in the Hightstown/East Windsor area with affordable quality childcare.
Our Executive Director, Jason Hernandez has over 10 years’ experience as an educator/administrator. He is supported by a staff of two administrators with combined decades of service at Better Beginnings.
Better Beginnings had a full-time classroom staff of 14; all CDA certified with decades of child development experience working with children of all ages.
